Mobile Messenger is the leader within the mobile entertainment/technology industry with a specialization in enabling mobile entertainment platforms internationally across the US, AU, UK, CA and more. We are in search of a Systems Administrator to join our team and manage all of our Unix Infrastructure.

Several of your responsibilities will include:

• Solaris 10 Administration
• Perl Programming
• SUN SAN Administration 6140, 6130 preferabe
• Linux Administration Redhat, Centos
• DNS, Postfix, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Tomcat, Shell scripting, Nagios, SNMP, Legato, Cacti, NFS
• System and network performance tuning
• On call escalated support
• Ensure monitoring for hosts and applications is in place and functioning
• Assist with the configuration and maintenance of network security for our production systems.
• Monitor and maintain production network high availability
• Advise on modifications and improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Assess/evaluate new hardware and systems software.
• Assist with the deployment of new infrastructure as/when required.
• Ensure that backup regime is being adhered to, and that full backups for all production machines are available.

What you need to have in your arsenal:

• Solaris 10 Administration
• Perl Programming
• Linux Administration
• Sound knowledge in building resilient TCP/IP Networks
